System for trimming, sorting, washing and drying
A fresh produce processing company based in Tanzania, engaged in processing fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, and head lettuce, aimed to equip itself with a complete system to integrally manage the critical stages of the process: from initial trimming to manual product sorting, up to washing and final drying.
The implemented system combines several coordinated technologies: a bubbling washing tank for gentle impurity removal, manual sorting systems for quality control, and two drying methods using air blades and centrifuge to adapt to different sizes and consistencies of the processed products.
The installed line includes the NC, NE, VLO, CENTR, and NLA units, thus ensuring efficient, flexible processing that respects the characteristics of the raw materials.
