Washing tunnel with water jets, conveyor belt and air blades for dewatering
Description
An agricultural company located in the province of Gorizia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, active in the cultivation and processing of leafy vegetables such as cabbage and radicchio, needed to optimize the washing and drying process of harvested products.
The challenge was to ensure thorough cleaning of leaf surfaces, removing soil residues without damaging the delicate structure of the vegetables.
To this end, a high-pressure washing tunnel model NLA was adopted, equipped with 360° adjustable water jets and a variable speed conveyor belt, allowing precise control of the treatment.
The system also integrates blowing and suction air blades placed under the conveyor belt, which enable effective dewatering, promoting uniform drying of the product before packaging or storage.
